Football Italy is reporting that Mario Balotai wants to join Napoli, and the former AC Milan star is a real target for the Rossoneri.
According to reports, the Napoli forward is looking to return to Serie A after an absence of five years.
Balotelli is the son of former Milan coach Roberto Balotella, and is also an Italian citizen.
He was born in the Italian city of Pisa, and joined the San Siro giants in 2005.
He scored 12 goals in 37 appearances for Milan during his first spell at the San Paolo giants, and scored 21 goals in 79 appearances during his second spell with the club.
Since then, he has scored 16 goals in his last 12 appearances for Napoli.
In his last six Serie A matches, he scored twice in each of his last three matches, helping Napoli to win the Scudetto in June 2016.
Balotai is one of several players in Serie A who could return to the Serie A, as he would join a team that already has one of the top goal scorers in the world in former Juventus man Mario Mandzukic.
The Italian international has scored 18 goals in 32 league appearances this season, and has been linked to a move away from the Stadio San Paoli.
