Coffee bars, coffee stands and other places where customers can drink and buy coffee in Hongkong are illegal.
A new law, introduced last week, aims to stop them from taking over the streets of Hong Kong, as well as restrict the amount of people who can consume and sell coffee.
The new law allows authorities to confiscate any coffee shop, cafe or other establishment that sells or displays the products of illegal enterprises.
Coffee bars are illegal in Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan, and the government has been cracking down on coffee bar owners in recent years.
